Congratulations to all the winners! We always received so many wonderful entries, which makes it a very tough decision for the judges. Thank you to all the Librarians who helped with contest. The awards ceremony was held on Saturday, April 26th at the Strides for Schools Fun Run/Walk. Each of the winners received a trophy and Barnes & Noble gift card. DPEF 2023 Bookmark Contest- Congratulations Winners!

Strides for Schools is a Virtual Success!

The Deer Park Education Foundation would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported the 11th Annual Strides for Schools event as a Virtual Fun Run. The Funds raised will support the Teacher Grant Program, which supports important programs such as the Reading Recovery program. Congratulations to the 2019-20 DPEF Teacher Grant Recipients

The DPEF is proud to collaborate with DPISD to fund innovative and creative Teacher Enrichment Grants. We wish to thank all the volunteers, community leaders and businesses that have supported the DPEF and have helped to contribute over $2.5 million dollars to support programs that enhance the educational experience. The DPEF awarded 167 grants for a total donation of $267,085.00 for the 2019-20 school year.

The Outdoor Learning Center receives a grant from Lubrizol

Through the generosity of Lubrizol, the Outdoor Learning Center has received a $20,000 Grant to maintain existing exhibits, make improvements and add new things for students to explore.  Some of the projects in the past have included adding an orchard with a variety of fruit trees, a butterfly pavilion and a new turtle habitat.  The facility has a large pond for students to canoe, fish and learn about aquatic life. This unique center offers Deer Park students the opportunity to take field trips to a state of the art nature center with an interactive learning environment and hands on experiments.  [...]

Over the last 23 years, the Deer Park Education Foundation has awarded over $1,740,183 to Deer Park ISD! Have you ever known a teacher who had to take money out of their pocket to do something special for their students in their classroom? The Deer Park Education Foundation assists teachers by awarding Enrichment Grants which makes a difference in the education of our students.
